Repertoire

Repertoire Collections Available

As a piano teacher, I find it helpful to use collections of books grouped by levels. This approach makes it much easier to find appealing choices that perfectly match each student’s skill level, and practically speaking, it is far more economical.

Below are several high-quality collections I highly recommend. They are available in Music Braille, have standard print editions available for sight-reading teachers, and can be easily supplemented with audio. While independent student and tutorial videos can be found on standard YouTube for an overview, teachers can easily provide specific audio recordings as needed once a piece is chosen for study.

How to Access the ABRSM Exam Audio

ABRSM no longer utilizes physical CDs or scratch-off download codes for these series.

  • For Current Books (2025/26): You can instantly access the tracks by scanning the QR code printed on the inside introductory pages, which links directly to the official streaming playlist.
  • For Past Exam Years (2021/22 and 2019/20): The official benchmark audio recordings are completely archived for free streaming.

The Trick to Finding Past Audio: You must search for them specifically on YouTube Music or Spotify rather than the standard video-based YouTube app. Searching the standard video app will typically only return independent student performances and tutorial videos rather than the official benchmark tracks.

Alternatively, you can jump straight to the complete archived directory via the link below (make sure to click on “more” to bring up all available year recordings):
